West coast bias I guess.However I know the guys I have worked with there and those 65 to 75k B's are pretty neat houses for the money.. many are mostly brick have nice under grade parking and bonus rooms.. real hard woods that get refinished...

I lived in the house just over two years and did all the rehab work myself (carpet, refinish hardwoods, complete bathroom gut, paint etc.).

.- build front porch + railing + paint- tile upstairs bathroom, install vanity and fixtures- tile downstairs bathroom, finish creating shower enclosure- tile kitchen backsplash, finish putting in cabinets- tile kitchen and basement floors + steps- stain hardwood floors (already sanded ready to go)- install crown molding throughout- install various baseboards, railings, etc- paint entire interior- rewire one conduit (was in a closet we ripped out, so now it needs to be relocated to a nearby wall)- fix fences and stain back deck- landscape front and back of propertyThis project needs to be finished quickly so someone who can get to work this week would be ideal.

We have a lot of contractor supply auctions here, but you need to know your pricing & there may be a defect somewhere in a pallet of tile or hardwood flooring.My rehab guy picked up a LOT of 12' x 5" base board @ the auction & resold what he didn't need making over $600.

I had old hardwood flooring that was pretty uneven and you'd never know after I went over it with the vinyl planks with underlayment.
