When you sell that other property, your judgment creditor get paid including accrued interest from the time the judgment was awarded.

@Yolanda Eiland I've never done it before but a big pro I can see from it is not only cultivating your skip tracing prowess but gaining access to better skip tracing databases.Cons would be the fact that judgments are pretty much unsecured, court awarded IOU's.

My idea of it is that I would call several contractors and have them estimate (bid) how much everything, such as rehabbing would cost, but do I pay them and those who do it for free how do they get awarded?

Paying in installments in the future can certainly help and I believe it was David Greene in his book who used a "penalty/bonus" method that either penalized the last draw to the contractor or awarded them extra money by finishing on time.
