Eric W.We just had another 6 inch snow fall, and temperatures have never been above freezing for the last week or so and the long range forecast is 2 more weeks of this sub freezing temps.I'm not getting any calls from people who want to move right now.The first day in Feb when the temps break 60 degrees, will be the start of the spring thaw, not only in temps, but prospective renters too.

The doorway frame has about 4 inches of depth to fill with insulation or something else to dampen the noise, or about 6 inches of depth if I remove the door (OK too.)Objectives:1) Reduce noise between two rooms.

The roofers left the shingles cut a bit long in my opinion (GAF recommends 3/8 to 3/4 of an inch of overhang over the drip edge, and mine is around 1 to 1.5 inches overhanging the drip edge) but some contractors have told me that this is the old standard method and is fine.

Depending on how bad is the foundation state (how many inches you have to correct), is very possible the sewer line will disconnect/break in the horizontal portions.
