There are, however, natural limitations given that NYC has a thriving finance and tourism industry and in DC it doesn't seem like the government is going to move any time soon.

I can get very overwhelmed by tasks and I see others who thrive there.For these reasons I will succeed and be happier if I have a "boss" or partners.

We are a thriving community of investors from primarily the US, but have international investors as well.

Do you thrive when challenged by your committments? 

I also try to shop locally and really really try to shop small businesses only  I am thankful each and every day for the opportunities and luck that came my way to be where I am  And I also am the type of “retired”  person that thrives on work.  

I could show you plenty of mismanaged towns in booming areas (look up Bell, California as an example) and also show you thriving towns in depressed areas.
