While I finish my schooling I would love to be able to work alongside some experienced real estate investors and help them out as I can while I learn the business.  

If the stock market hits a hiccup will they feel quick as comfortable investing or will they be more conservative with their capital.  

If you have none and this is your first time rehabbing a house I would highly suggest you work alongside a trustworthy and experienced GC.

@Tiffani Crenshaw,I feel your pain, we have 1 owner in our preferred neighborhood, that owns about 15 houses-- all the POS crappy ones that look like no one gives a crap, boarded up windows, trees growing inside/along side of them.. those are his..   

I use Craigslist to gt my market research - I go through the local listings every week to see what is available, where, for what price, for what deposit, and what deposit and other policies are.You will see more turnover in a low income area, because the tenants are just barely getting by, so any hiccup sends them in a tailspin.  

Found great partner through BiggerPockets and we've had a few unexpected hiccups but overall, it's gone great.

I did have a hiccup a few days ago, and someone else was having issues today.

I'm mainly concerned with how to structure it so that I can be best positioned to earn profit alongside of him and keep things moving in the right direction.

For the Riviera Maya, the days that you could get 8 - 12% are gone, alongside with the pandemic.
