My two cents when choosing a company is to ensure that they are accredited and licensed, there are many choices to choose from, but it is important that you find a good fit for your needs as an investor.

They have to be accredited or sophisticated if you structure it this way.  

If there were education dollars burning a whole in your pocket, there are legit and accredited courses applicable to what you would have already learned offered at local colleges or university.

I do not understand this sentence.Most syndications are looking for accredited investors...ensure that you understand the definition.

Accredited investor is a definition determined by the SEC.

Well, close on some acreage at the lake.......Have a rancher remodeled in town........End of year audit on a note portfolio with Trust Department......Get year end closed for taxes........Get a roof on another property before snow hits.......Put up 3 more courses on GREA and hopefully about 10 blogs, maybe more.......Get course accreditation submitted for college course curriculum.........Complete an installment purchase purchase program with a deed of trust integrated......Not to mention my trip to Texas and Florida before the end of the year! 

You don't need to be a sophisticated investor or an accredited one to get into multifamily real estate.From 1-4 units its not really different than buying any other kind of house.

I am anxious of not finding another renter because of this corona virus and the stay at home schooling.

Personally, in NC, I would always target accredited investors just to be safe.
