Another factor to consider with shelter is that they only survey an area twice a year, versus other CPI items that are tracked monthly.

I had to survey the damage shortly after and it was beyond words, there wasn't even grass left, other than sticking out of power lines and telephone poles, blades of grass.......

I was just focused on repositioning the 6unit to bring the value up that I put a hold on looking into developmenta couple months ago i reached out to The architect & he wants me to get an ALTA & Topographic, boundary survey. i was driving by another development & found a survey company. soonest they can come out is end of September I also reached out to the GC but he hasn't replied.

We’re building a new patio and the city tells us that there was a conveyance of land in 1937 with 2 feet given to the city.We got a survey done, and it shows nothing.

. – The National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC)’s Rent Payment Tracker found 75.4 percent of apartment households made a full or partial rent payment by December 6 in its survey of 11.5 million units of professionally managed apartment units across the country.This is a 7.8 percentage point, or 894,864 household decrease from the share who paid rent through December 6, 2019 and compares to 80.4 percent that had paid by November 6, 2020.

Fees like loan origination, lenders title insurance, survey, flood cert, doc prep etc aren't free either, but can often be lumped into the loan.So not an infinite ROI.
