(I kind of gave you the shotgun approach intentionally just so you realize that there are lots of moving pieces, but if you organize your thoughts & to-do's and systematically tackle them, you can succeed. 

It's still on my list but the idea of try to unwind the interest of potential remaindermen was more than I was rally hoping to tackle early on.

Any flippers want to try and tackle this tear down?

I admire you for tackling a major rehab as your first project.

Had two contractors come over to give bids, but neither camelback with a bid.On the insulation, the wife and I tackled one of the houses yesterday.

But, between those "maybes" and being knee deep in this, pushing back the date here would still win out.I could actually get away without paying for the 2 weeks of relocation, between friends, family.The June time off is strategically placed at my job, I might have a harder time taking time off in July, but could swing a few days to tackle the big tasks. 

I am thinking a tackle box - something portable that I can keep in a safe at home.  

How should we tackle this situation?

Having a CPA and bookkeeper as the same person or part of same company makes things simpler because if the bookkeeper runs into any questions or issues, he/she can consult with the CPA and tackle the issue.
