In court, the terms of your contract, and who has lived up to those terms and to what extent are going to determine the outcome, should it come to that. don't fear court assuming your not being deceptive or fraudulent. 4. an incomplete job is owed nothing (assuming he was given a reasonable amount of time to complete said job). as long as his behavior earned his firing (disrespect, not showing up, deception, etc.) fire away and feel comfortable paying him zero (would you pay 70 percent of the price for 70 percent of a hamburger?)......
