I build custom cars as my hobby, so I'm the last one to ask :) I dump stupid $$ into my cars because that's my vice..... don't travel much, don't buy nice clothes or eat out a lot...for me that my one "stupid decision" with $$...everything else I'm pretty good with...About a year ago I bought I used 2016 Challenger Hellcat for 55k.....20k under the original price...had 830 mi on it....and I paid cash....was that a stupid financial decision....yes....but oh boy is that car FUN :) and its was a "treat" for myself.... life is too short to make every decision in life about $$... you cant take it with you.My daily drivers are different....buy low mileage used majority of time....majority of time with cash, but if I can get a really cheap rate I'll finance it for awhile, use my cash to make other $$ and pay it off quickly....but did buy my wife a new 2013 Eqiunox because that's what she wanted and "happy wife, happy life" Is no jokeBottom line.....vehicles are horrible investments...so just make sure you make the decision based on the right reason

Lithuania is clean, green and safe, but cars are 33% more expensive than in the USA, and clothing in Italy and Rome is far more expensive than in California.    

They had nice cars and car payments, did vacations, had nice clothes and ate out all the time when they were younger. 

Now I get to drop the 30+ lbs I gained this past year due to the medication and stress of that job and fit back into my clothes again.

I've never been impressed by or been driven to purchase brand new cars or phones or clothes or exotic vacations, etc.

We ruined a bunch of clothes (old red clothes bleeding onto white ones because the "cold" water was hot) until the water company buried those lines.

Disposable income is very alluring, you can get new clothes, get a new phone, buy stuff for your hobbies.

The tenant would always put her clothes in the laundry for more than 3 days straight every time and don't take her close out from the laundry!

Someone that makes 3x the rent, and meets all criterias is likely going to keep there job, or atleast be able to weather their own storm.I think tenants that make 3 X to qualify for a 700 dollar renter will not have reserves.. tahts 2100 a month before tax's subtract 700 for rent  150 for utls.. etc that leaves them maybe 1k a month to buy food cloths insurance car if they have it etc..

COVID can live on skin, clothes and hair.
