It’s ironic I was just doing some research on the company yesterday when I came across their profile.

However, when the iron filter flushed through the water at midnight, one side had water all over their basement storage room and soaked into the carpet.  

In one unit all I had coming out of the wall under the vanity was 1" of iron pipe to put a rubber coupler on. 

Old cast iron pipes suck.

Also, from the OP's pic, it appears to be a typical cast iron floor drain, with the square headed pipe plug in the rim, above the pipe opening in the bottom.

Must 1958 houses have cast iron pipes and wire is outdated.

Ironically, so does my mother as she currently has a law degree.

I was able to get my title company to issue title insurance as I was a good customer and was flipping so they received 2 premiums I just checked Stewart Title's online underwriting manual and ironically they have a Texas Quit Claim Deed form in the forms section and I couldn't find a bulletin prohibiting insuring title because of one in the chain.TX Deed-Quitclaim 1 (virtualunderwriter.com)

Ironically I am in the same situation regarding a loan.

If it's a steel building with open span and large iron beams, they'll bid that.
