While we do this, don't you notice other people for example class mates, just goofing around and being naive some not even knowing what they will do in their life and others just so chill and eager to get a depressing 9 to 5 job for the rest of their lifes.

My grandparents were  in their teens when the depression hit so the definition of 'wealthy' has changed drastically and we need to remember our roots.

In fact, I'm sure the majority of football players who smoke marijuana do so for the medical component without even realizing that's the case because it is without question the best pain management drug in the world.Now I'm not suggesting this person who was arrested for marijuana was using for this reason, but it's actually possible it treated some depression issue, or something else. 

I'm willing to put the work in, I'm just in a slump/kind of depressed right now.

With the 08 bubble they just put our “recovery” on a credit card in order to avoid the pain of another Great Depression.

I am the first to admit my way of doing things is not tax efficient.. but that's OK ... for this cycle of the economy I may change my tune in the next 2 to 3 years and look for another MHP or take my stab at a MF.. having lived through and got my teeth kicked in 08 to 2010 I am a little more like someone who lived through the great depression and cash is more dear to me than anything else.

This time we are in a much more depressed economy with the avg house hold making less than they did 15 years ago.

As much as I would discourage reckless spending and living beyond one's means, I would be beyond miserable if I were to do any of the above, and would push me into an abyss of depression.
