The house also had other problems (low ceilings in the kitchen, small dining area, small living room, top heavy, driveway pitched down toward the house, only 1600 sq feet with no room to expand, and no basement).  

Even my contractor friend was stunned at how pricey this is turning out to be.The problem I have now is that I feel this tapering system is probably a negative investment from an investors standpoint.

One company, Eagle's Landing, has 800 rooms available, while University Place has 600.The place I will be renting is a 4 bedroom 4 bath apartment with shared kitchen, living, dining, and in-house washer/dryer.

We removed the walls between the kitchen, dining room and living room and opened the whole space up into one large room.

Once home to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, this oceanside mansion boasts a private beach cove and stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.

We leveled the floor on the first level (both sides) by removing damaged floors in both kitchens and building a new, level floor that met the same height of a new, level floor we built on top of the remaining floor in the dining and living rooms.
