I think the worst part of it was having to get in the elevator with the girl who failed.  

I rented a unit to this girl who had a son was pregnant and was moving with her boyfriend. we ran a background and both seemed to make good money to afford the place.

I'm not a real estate lawyer, but I think if a squatter is not receiving mail, nor have utilities in his name, and of course is not paying you rent or have a signed agreement with you to stay there .... you might be able to have the police escort him out permanently. 

I'm curious to hear about the unconventional methods you guys and girls are using to meet other investors.

Different window manufacturer on the main floor, the same windows in the basement, however the specifications were nearly identical.I spent years writing spec books for a design/construction administration girl and then scopes of work for a GC, so apples to apples bids/pricing always.I’m not sure why or how he priced it like he did, and have even used him for other work (and been happy with his quality and price), just not sure if this was a “I don’t want the job, but for this price I will do it”.
