@Sandee SampsonA construction attorney would be who to contact but you are going to spend a lot more than $7000 in getting this resolved against a builder. Also let’s say you win, the courts could also say you didn’t pay for a retaining wall which is needed so it’s a betterment to the property so you would still need to pay for the wall and they would be responsible for some soil etc.

I borrow dollars from the bank and immediately sell those dollars to owners of commercial income property that I want to own.And then I buy those dollars back over time using the cash our tenants pay us in exchange for using our space.I'm currently shorting $10M and I can't lose regardless of who wins on 11/5By the way, the dollar will always decline in value so this thesis is applicable in any election or economic cycle.Go vote for whoever you feel strongest about, but remember you have infinite more power and that which is within your direct control.

If values of real properties continue their long term increases, then owning more property even if it means having paid higher prices will turn out to be a winning strategy, provided the buyer is able to maintain ownership through periods of possible negative cash flow and or refinancing necessity.

@Dawn MurrayI recommend you seek your own attorney in this as well - typically in these situations there is very little to go around but whoever gets the first lawsuit and judgment wins.
