I understand you feeling some sort of sympathy, it's only normal.

I believe they used it against me to get sympathy and made it hard to either get out or increase rents.

I do have some sympathy for the guy and this could be just the normal course of events--5 years is a long time.

Sorry, but you're not going to get any sympathy from anyone here. 

My sympathies are with the lender on this one, as your attitude about "a little mold" has no basis.

Tenants in Chicago generate a lot more court sympathy than tenants in Alabama, even though most of the states' Landlord-Tenant laws aren't very different (since most states just copy what someone else has done and tweak it here and there).

@Logan McKay ZylstraI'm not sure if this is controversial or just downright mean, but I'm having difficulty finding sympathy for people right now that are suffering from inflationary rental prices. 

Still I won't use their " application"  and I have no sympathy for their i-buying BS.

Making the problem seem worse than it is will be the best way to gain sympathy. 5.

I'm just explaining how he can show a little sympathy without giving away the farm.
