Rents have increased tremendously since our area got hit by Hurricane Michael, we had a vast shortage of rental properties, and prices went way up! 

I wouldn't sell in this market as there is a shortage and pent up demand.

Values are re-assessed upon purchase price which I think is a factor in why people hold onto properties for a really long time and we have a housing shortage and high demand (Bay Area specifically).  

Some universities have a housing shortage and some don't, you have to evaluate the situation by you.

Also if a tenant has a cash shortage we allow them to modify their payment due date but they have to pay followthrough on the new date. 

There is a shortage of inventory...in both the real estate market and the rental market and we see SFH's perform very well. 

There's no shortage of people willing to help.

Do you feel like there is a housing shortage at all in Amarillo?

COVID may have been part of the reason for the vacancy, but also there seems to be a shortage of space in the 5000-50,000 ft space, so it’s a little curious that it’s still vacant. 

I'm in the Houston area so there was not and still isn't any shortage of vacant properties to pursue.
