I have a townhome in an HOA (location withheld for legal reasons), and there are new board members that are extremely toxic and very likely breaking the law, misusing funds, getting kickbacks on projects not approved by homeowners, etc.

I am going to ask that they do since their neglect caused this issue however it's not stated in my lease anywhere that issues caused by misuse or neglect that result if something having to be repaired is the tenants responsibility.
