The only hard case you might get if you get an owner that is deceased or deciding heritage, than you need to hire an attorney or go with probate (from someone outside of usa i suggest you avoid those cases, but if the overage is high than you might consider hiring an attorney).

The city of Kitchener is also very lenient on new business looking to move into the area offering a wide range of incentives that assist businesses: Brownfield remediation , Façade grant program, Startup Landing Pads program, Grants in lieu of building fees, Heritage tax rebates and grants.
