At first we thought a paint job and some cheap carpet would be all we need to do to get it back on the market quickly and rented, but in an effort to "harden" the rental, add some juju to the place (and thinking long-term) I am beginning to think Allure vinyl plank may be the way to go.Does anyone have experience with this brand - or suggestions of others to look at.

Generally, the choice of going with plank instead of carpet is to harden the rental - make it more difficult for tenants to damage things and keep your turn costs or overall maintenance costs lower.If this is your goal, I'd personally prefer Option C, particularly if this is an A-Class property.

From your description, it is possible the burner needs cleaned and serviced and stopping operations just allowed buildup to harden and/or break loose and become an obstruction - or a spider decided to make its home in burner {we had a furnace not relight as a result of this once} ... though at 2(ish) years of age, it shouldn't be that dirty.While it is possible a sensor has failed prematurely, I'd start with a service.

Seller didn't want to tell tenants before I closed, understandably.Writing this out, I think I've got to harden up on this industry ha but he genuinely seemed like a good guy who got caught in the crossfire of ownership changing hands and a short month.

I have used peel-and-stick linoleum at the low end with Berber carpeting, while at the mid range house we have used an Allure type product to harden the flooring with tile , and at the higher end we have used hand-scraped wood flooring and a nice size or designer laid out tile.Appliances have ranged (pun intended)...I look for package deals in local flyers.
