My favourite remodel was turning a garage into a recording studio all done in tongue and groove pine.

The weight of the contents most likely had much to do with the failure, as it appeared the integrity of the box was compromised by the base pulling out of the groove in the frame and distorting due to weight.

although, since you're such a broken record and your needle is stuck in that groove, I will offer this:Anecdotally - and if anyone asks me, I will deny having said anything in a public forum - in my experience with people who finish the education, I'd guess some 75% acquire at least one property, then go one to achieve greater success.

Hey Brian, I agree with the chair rail idea, but if you want a finish that's consistent from floor to ceiling then you may want to just buy pine tongue and groove boards that are the full length.
