I spend roughly $120k on my renovations, but this is for the entire property and developing the secondary suite which certainly costs more (2 new furnaces, all new plumbing, new kitchens and bathrooms with tiled floors and showers).All said and done, I personally love it.

If you're looking to get a condo and you purchase on floor 3 or above, I would say Flood coverage is probably not necessary.Murrells Inlet has some great things to offer.

Some of the materials we choose and asked him to pick up (such as flooring) he replaced with low quality materials, I assume to keep more of our money for himself.

Just a guess though as it's impossible to know without more information.Difference in conditions really doesn't have anything to do with the amount of coverage.Surplus lines policies are more and more common in this space
