I got all a decent amount under the "asking" price but I think you have a little leverage when you're either the first offer or the entire investment ecosystem has passed on the property at the list price. 

. * Uber, Airbnb, Pinterest, Dropbox will all go public in the next 3-5 years, creating a tidal wave of billions of liquidity into the ecosystem looking to buy real estate.I'd love to get everybody's thoughts!

I would say there is a more robust third party management ecosystem out there for self storage.

It is an ever-changing ecosystem of humans that you are purchasing after all, not just a set of numbers on paper.

I am in Brad Sumrok's program and the "eco-system" that Brad facilitates is amazing!

At 3,000 units, 300m AUM and over 90 employees I still get great value by being part of Rod's ecosystem. :)

And over the years we really put a lot of energy on building out the overall support ecosystem that we have today that we consistently hear from clients serves up the "best experience" they've ever had w/ any company. 

The ecosystem is not some cliche word but very real and very sticky.

By March 15th, I will know and be ready to move on the best of the three.There are two struggles I have found in this approach: One, is the distraction of 'new shiny things' that come into my eco-system.
