The main thing a Board of Directors of an HOA is charged with is maintaining property values. 

Sure we would all like to time things perfectly when the cycle dips/there’s a crash, but if you are planning to hold long term it’s very different than flippers who have houses when the market crashes and “are playing musical chairs and don’t have a chair”.

Plenty of people try to get around these rules by creating companies with Thai majority directors or using usufructs to lease homes long term. 

Turning the emotional support animal tenant away for this reason is the same as not building a ramp to a second floor apartment because the tenant is in a wheel chair.

As a follow-up to my own post, this is the verbiage I'd developed, which others can comment on:The increase in value of Separate Property, regardless of whether such increase or decrease is due in whole or in part to the direct or indirect contributions of either party and whether such increase is passive or active.

The question is, how does the broker have to be connected to the company within the entity for us to legally be able to operate in the state.Can they be in an advisory position (Board of Directors) or do they have to be a partner with equity.

What should I say to their HR directors, or who else in their company should I talk to?
