If your current permit is an ADU, I suspect it will need to not be an ADU to split the lot as you have depicted. 

I have before pictures, with the date on them, usually a few days before we sign the lease, and always have that days Newspaper somewhere in the photo to depict that the day I took these photo's are actually current.

However, my CPA told me we needed to provide: an explanation for what we'd use the home office for, a floor plan depicting where the home office was in our home, pictures, sq ft. 

Therefore, a more accurate depiction of what I do is "housing provider".  

Using the tax appraisal site's depiction of the property line won't provide proof...they're typically not even close.

However it depicts that Appreciation and leverage can be great wealth builders. 

Take pictures of the home prior to renting it out and have that day's paper somewhere int he picture to depict that the photo's are current. 16.

@Dean Letfus that may be your personal experience but it's not what's depicted on the show.I manage 300+ rentals and get a really big mess once a year, probably less.

Written descriptions are often difficult to understand, and photos from ground level often lack the context or continuity for them to do what I need.I've done something similar for lawn care by taking pics at ground level which works well, but the walkways and doorways that need snow removal are often meandering and would take many pics to depict, and again - without continuity would be hard to interpret.I'm considering hiring a drone pilot that could take pics from 25 ft or so overhead that could frame the entire property in a single image. 

The survey depicted the big black line of the easement which almost all Florida waterways have for property next to said waterways.
