As the population continues to grow and more high income earners move here to work at Toyota, Boom, etc. the average purchase price will continue to rise making it even more difficult for first time buyers to break into the market.

There are some surrounding counties that have seen a major boom in appreciation over the past couple years but Springfield is not one of them.

It's all a part of the boom/bust real estate cycle in resort areas.

The property has been drawn up and is permits are ready so it's just a matter of finalizing the cash for it.I know Tampa area has been booming so it generally seems like a good idea.

Is it booming?

 Any market which has a thriving vacation industry and also other diverse booming industry, has world class beaches  or great natural parks  and is near to many tourist locations should do well :)

The appreciation of midtown is booming. 

.* Inland cities like Mexico City (the capital), Guadalajara and Monterrey (the 2nd and 3rd cities who are benefiting from the onshoring/reshoring/nearshoring boom and the rise of the middle classes), San Miguel de Allende or Merida.Hope this helps otherwise feel free to reach out.
