Logic tells me to fix them both since the leak will eventually exacerbate the problem...not a matter of if, but when.If I fix only the plumbing, the slab may react and worsen possibly since I am removing the source of the moisture that caused the issue.

Ceterus paribus, Texas with no income tax, lower minimum wage, food, etc. could have lots of runway in housing prices in desirable locations especially if traffic continues to worsen making "another 2 miles" an extra 30-40 minutes of commute.
