I worked as a current planner for the City of Palo Alto for a few years before quitting and moving to Hong Kong.

But that was Hong Kong, and this is San Diego.  

It was during Obama term, i recall it vividly as i was playing with the internt in my Hong Kong Mansion Hotel suite.     

It becomes a new "Hongkong" with a very bad layout and actually, only engineers-immigrants are willing to pay handsome money for that house.  20 years ago, nobody likes to buy a house with a 4 story.

But if you see in many Asian countries and also other western developed countries, an 0.67-1.0 cap rate is normal in places like Singapore, Hongkong, China or even Vietnam.

@Donggie Hong I feel like you should be looking at this a bit differently.

@Kevin Kong, I would also be concerned about the insurance for this house.
