Personally I'm not a fan of syndications simply because there is absolutely 0 say so and what you can and can't do.

The government is not a fan of bitcoin. 

I dont their account reps change pretty frequently..

I've never been scammed but my units have appeared in SCAM advertisements frequently.

Every system you try will have flaws, or you may salivate over a feature that appears in other software.Some familiar names are mentioned frequently: Stessa, Apartments.com, RentRedi, TenantCloud, Innago, RentManager, Avail, Rentec Direct, Doorloop, etc.I recommend conducting thorough research on each app online to understand their offerings, pricing, etc.

This ultimately why the $100k midwest single family homes are frequently discussed in these forums.....its what many are able to afford to buy.

Like you mentioned, frequent crashes, problems uploading photos, weird restrictions on what words can't be used, listings removed for no obvious reason. ....and, to me, the navigation/operation is very unintuitive and cumbersome.

Like @Nicholas L. said, maybe look within a reasonable driving distance from where you live, is there any city or state where you have family or friends that live there where you could travel to frequently and they could keep on the property for you or somewhere you visit a lot.  

I'm not a big personal fan of Easton or really anywhere in ABE, but it's generally held its own even as a decent number of people make that crazy-*** commute into NYC.
