I (a novice) believed owning a home made you a home owner and owning a home along with another property to use for profit made you a REI.

Best investment from what it taught me; hard work supersedes accreditation from an organization.Since then, Marketing & Sales/Consultant - Mechanical Engineering apprentice.Self taught in preparation for real estate investing : Rough carpentry/framing, roofing, novice electrical, drywall, trim/wainscotting/crown moulding, plumbing, tile/wood/laminate.

The bottom line is that income property is a lot of work, especially for the novice.  

I'm not sure if is because there's a lot of novice investors in my town or if it's my negotiating skills.

The Lender here sounds a bit novice might even be just a broker.  

I was honestly unaware that this type of a forum existed with so much knowledge coming from novice, intermediate and professional investors alike.The reason I came here was to learn to become a successful landlord and in a few short hours of reading, I believe I may have cut a year or more off that learning curve. 

I feel like a novice in a very aggressive industry, but I’m looking forward to where this takes me.

Let me ask a very novice question here ( Nothing ventured nothing gained i always say)so am i to understand that a property can be foreclosed in two ways?
