Hi I am looking to network with other French or other European investors who invest from outside Detroit or who live in Detroit.

I'm not a vet but I'm currently active duty (Navy - Hooyah!)

We screened a lot of tenants and waited for a great one and really thought we found them for the other side....Younger married couple with a baby, recently discharged from the navy, great rental history, income/employment, credit score, he had two puppies which he paid extra for monthly, they seemed upstanding and silly me had a great feeling about them.  

We are buy and hold investors with the plan to plan to real estate as our early retirement plan when my husband retire from the Navy (god and navy willinging) in 15 years.

I got a call the week of Thanksgiving to take a Navy job on short notice in Fort Worth starting Dec 1st.

Here's hoping you're not in the Navy in 3 or 4 years!

As for the mortgage, just go with Navy Federal.

As far as Charleston goes, as I detailed above, I was referencing the best streets- the eastern side of SOB, French Quarter and Ansonborough mostly.
