You see the government does not allow everyone to invest in these kind of deals, it's kind of the rich get richer and those who are not rich are locked out.Some GP's will use Sophisticated investors, not rich but (according to government laws) knowledgeable, and some do not like them on the deal for fear of lawsuits.Here's a little heads up from the SEC: https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2020-191It might be best to talk to a couple of GP's of deals and ask about this.Good Luck!

I'll tell them what I do, and if they press how many units I have, but never real numbers unless they're really persistent in which case I'll drop a percentage "my last deal I got a 20% return, I was really excited about that".Around people who are hustling I don't mind sharing numbers at all.
