Caring about individual's ahead of the entire business is not appropiate.

She might be referring to an ITIN (Individual Tax Identification Number).

Just painful for me to see cash underutilized but understandable when a individual has more money than they need or want.  

I would also suggest attending local meetups and REIA meetings as these are a great way to connect with like-minded individuals. 

I made a few contacts on BP and presented my deal I was approached by both individuals trying to partner and an offer for private lending.

I plan to continue learning every day and hope to connect with like-minded individuals here on bigger pockets.

Also while the index averages are down, a lot of individual stocks barely took a hit, my BofA stock saw a .74 cents decline, my Wells Fargo was down 1.11 This isn't a bad day if you bought right just like a down RE rental market if you bought right.

Technology will kill individual jobs or groups of jobs, but always nets out higher with the jobs it creates.  

I have my own construction company in addition to my real estate business so my situation is different than most as I have the entire scope of work completed by my own crews aside from a few items like plumbing that we sub out.Before that, I acted as the GC as owner builder and hired each individual sub.

IMHO, the REI Industry is The best chance that an individual has to quickly and successfully become self-employed.
