SuarezWhile not an off-the-grid recluse minimalist, I don't bother having a fancy phone, driving a nice car, having designer clothes or living in the fanciest house.  

They outgrow their clothes really fast too.

When I first started buying homes in the mid 90s, I was in a laundry matt doing a load of clothes( because I lived in my rehabs and did not own a washer.

I wanted movie money, PF Flyers, records, clothes, a sting-ray bike, etc. 

I have always been pretty frugal and think some things are a waste (gambling or designer clothes) but some things are worth the spending (travel)  I was actually in Vegas this past weekend with some friends who were gamblers.  

And by the grace of god he gook off.. gone was our VW bug with no back seats my brother and I would sit on cushions.. my mom having to make our cloths and being self conscience to wear them to school.. not being able to have money for hot dog day  etc etc. 

This is great because I've tried to apply for a credit card at clothing stores like GAP and Macy's for example and they denied me both times.

Is it cloth?

You need to focus on basics at this point, not real estate: food, clothing, shelter. 

You can make minor adjustments based on the type of appliances (dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, air conditioning, etc.) and the size of the rental.
