I’m excited, thanks for expanding my horizon

I now have a couple duplexes under my belt, and am looking to expand my horizons.

I like to set my goals on 3 month, 3 year, 10 year, and 50 year time horizons.

I have seen a bunch in my 7 years and I am currently looking to expand my horizons to branch out in this market.

In my opinion, the question starts with what your goals & philosophy are, what your time horizon is for those goals and how well you know yourself!

I'd take a step back and see if holding the property aligns with your short and long-term goals.4)  How old is the property and what maintenance do you foresee on the horizon.  

@Nathan Mailly @Ian Ippolito is absolutey right about the time horizon (my apologies for not noting that in your reply earlier).

It may transition to partial WFH, but proximity is still important -- in other words, I don't see a mass exodus on the horizon, losses will be gradual over time and most likely beset by or eclipsed by the young folk who enjoy city life and want to live the city life.Regarding severity of covid, well, this isn't the place for a discussion on it.

I recently came across BP forums and now feel that I am in the right place.I am interested in "buy and hold" out of state cash-flow producing properties for a 5yrs + time horizon.

I am looking to expand my horizons by developing a strong real estate holdings portfolio that generates positive cash flow and maintains steady value appreciation.
