The North East corridor train tracks (route 21) is the west border with Route 9 being the border on the east. 

In general though the closer you are to the borders of the city the better.

Fellow CT investors, I'm in the market for a SFH for buy and hold investing (BRRRR strategy) but I don't have the risk tolerance for C or lower tenant neighborhoods.My instinct is to stay out of Hartford (Connecticut), but I was wondering if there are any neighborhoods in Hartford proper (not suburbs) that are considered B or higher based on your experience as landlords, for single family properties.Obviously there are locations on the West Hartford border, for example, that are solid, but the poor state of schools in Hartford negatively affects values, even on the same street.

You should consult with a cross border tax specialist to determine the best method to acquire properties. 

If you are open to other cities McAllen/Edinburg are on the border has a lot of quads and there is bunch more being built.

I started seeing smarter people jumping border to the south , this is serious.

I live in Western MA (border of VT and NH) There's lots of great places to go, I've heard Okemo, Stratton, and Killington are nice.

We do a border tile around the top that ties in to tile backsplash of the vanity (which is set, tiled and calked).I like the thought and experience of @Marcia Maynard, very good insights.

If our borders were closed (as other countries) and we didn't give aid to other countries, America could EASILY sustain ourselves and a very high standard of living.

I have investment income, educational expenses, crossing state borders, and a few other things that add to the complexity.
