Way to tackle a problem, and make it work!

Just guidelines to help you get to your end goal. 1, 2, and 3 are crucial but everything else tackle it in your own way and process.

My wife and I are tackling this condo we got for a song because it was in rough shape from a hoarder who had lots of cats. 

I’m thinking I must tackle this in small chunks(like eating a elephant).

Is this the first thread like this where it is a complete walk through of the process or are there more threads like this on the site that goes into detail about what to expect and how to tackle any issues that might come up?

On most projects (starter homes) it isn't as important, but I didn't want to tackle this project on my own.

However, if you're strictly looking for water efficiency, their is a prioritized order to tackle things - I'm probably stating the obvious.Toilets use the most water  - there are numerous technologies to help out with toilets.I wouldn't want to see you address dishwashers until you added one of the many inexpensive water saving devices to your toilets.

Please know there is a great team here on BP that can tackle basically any question or dead end you may hit.
