I called a architect  and he quoted me $25k for plans that he mentioned i need, but i have no way to verify if its needed or if im being taken advantage of.

Lights can be tricky on the commercial side because architects want certain colors and other options. 

Customer ordered wrong product, customer's architect screwed up, city takes too long to give out permit, delays that are absolutely not the GC fault, etc....all my fault.
