Hey @Jeremy Pace - We've been dealing with some issues with spam attacks over the past 2 weeks and had to implement a delay on email notifications to help protect members from dozens or hundreds of notifications (has happened 2x now thanks to these jerks) from categories or posts they follow.

ITs a wave taking the nation because so many newbies undercapitalized folks find it to be their dream to get into real estate the bar is far to low.. the only real training they get is on websites like these ( which is only people like you and me giving our personal opinions for whatever they are worth and its not MUCH really.. that's why the attack on wholesaling is coming about...

So many attorneys tell me they could attack everything you own if there was an issue...As far as areas to look at....probably anything within about 1hr to 1.5hr radius of DFW.   

Friendly people, interesting culturally, safe to travel in and live as a "gringo" (the murder rate is deceptively high, but only due to gangs carrying out revenge killings on each other in Belize City, not due to attacks on tourists which are rare.
