I don't believe this enough to put my money where my mouth is, however.I am certain that the trend in oil is up and is going to remain up due to increasing demand from the 2nd world and the general resistance toward alternative energy solutions such as nuclear power, wind, hydroelectric, domestic drilling, etc. professed by the NIMBY and Green crowds.

To me this seems like sub-standard housing and not a benefit to the community.Although the possible bullet resistance could be an attractant to renters in areas with a lot of drive-by shootings, such as some areas of Chicago (and other areas) where potential renters prefer brick 1/2 way up the front of the building's 1st floor so they can sleep with a little more safety.

The one place I tried RUBS was resisted by the tenants.So long as you're planning to rent the ADU to someone, I don't see why it'd be the same.
