Do you know how many people were stuck in the city because public transportation couldn't get people out fast enough or because of traffic jams on highways and city exit routes or because the local and national governments didn't do a very good job of broadcasting the warnings (I recall lots of Federal research money indicating that the levees were plenty strong to withstand Cat 5 hurricanes...what was the problem)?

I can't tell you how mad I got while putting myself and my husband through school (spending 10's of thousands of dollars from out own pockets) just to find out the girl next to me is getting everything paid for her, plus transportation, plus child care, all because she had a child, couldn't support him/her herself, and to top it off, got mostly D's in the classes.

And it was from the Nigerians, Ghanaians and the Benins that Europeans were able to buy the African slaves from African slave traders for transport throughout the world.

I suggest you try CraigsList in the local area; nobody wants to transport that stuff too far.

Keep in mind that not everyone is familiar with the area so they may not know anything about the school districts, nearby public transportation, or nearby amenities.And if your property is the one I'm thinking it is, I think it could probably use some cosmetic upgrading like Michael mentioned.Just my two cents.

Besides being so close to transportation, the house is 3 blocks from Main Street in the village, which is about to begin a huge revitalization program.

It's a matter of geographic access due to transportation at the time, human behavior and statistical probability, not politics...

Lots of trust goes into this unlicensed and unregulated business.. from what I can see..
