I desire to do my own preliminary skip tracing.Any recommendations or experiences you would like to share?

I have drafted a preliminary plan for where I will market to.

I look at it as indictators of employment growth, wage rate appreciation, population growth, or a combination of mulitple factors.

@Kevin Hart I would do a  preliminary research of lenders and get an idea of how a few work.

I'll give a call, get some preliminary info and take it from there.

Besides that, do all your preliminary research and find out if the seller is basing his/her price on might be the retail based on the future potentiaal.  

I would want to know if I've had a response from the owner, if we've had a preliminary number exchange, if I've sent 8 mailings, etc)- If its an MLS listing, I'd want a link to the listing- Date of most recent contact, and type of contact (mailing, phonecall, email, etc)- If I identified it while driving for leads, I'd want to be able to upload photos against the lead

We did preliminary already and it's the only mortgage on the house with no liens. 

I had a 5 month gap from initial court filing to actual eviction because you first have to get a preliminary ruling (things like warrants of restitution). 

When I jump on google or yelp....there are just so many...it's a little overwhelming 0_oAlso, any thoughts on some preliminary questions or filters I should use when evaluating potential lawyers?
