Legislators must think we're stupid or something.

Life isn't supposed to be fair and daddy government cant legislate equal outcomes, only equal opportunity to succeed or fail.

The reality is in some cities is that  it is easier to be homeless, the legislation in the area and the climate make these locations support a homeless population more readily then say the midwest.

You might expect more legislation of this nature in the future among other aggressive states.Any other questions?

Over the past 18 - 24 months, Legal Aid has significantly ramped-up their presence in the courthouse (I mean they literally have tables and attorneys in the courthouse to help tenants on the fly) and they are getting much more aggressive legislatively. 

Our city council is proposing emergency legislation in response to COVID-19 that includes a temporary moratorium of evictions.

A law must be promulgated in the legislative branch.
