In Texas we are having a property tax increase crisis.

The state of CA can look good by claiming neutrality and leaving it up to the local city governments to decide.Many local governments (LA & Garcetti aside) know that rent control will not alleviate the housing crisis nor do they wish to alienate their investor constituents that are against rent control measures in any form.Many studies have shown that rent control does not work and only degrades neighborhoods as landlords defer maintenance and improvements.   

Here's the latest in the Oblama and the falling Dow.In one of the other forums a couple of people were defending Oblama’s policies which I really hope will help this country out of the crisis its in.

I have done plenty of deals with $0 of my money in, but that was way back before the mortgage crisis (6 months + ago).

Unfortunately with this new mortgage crisis, we can get the construction financing all day long, but the end loan financing has dried up.

I think that all of my identifying information has been discovered. I am worried that my bank accounts will be cleaned out, my property, personal and real, will be sold out from under me, that my credit will be trash...

This sounds like how the financial crisis started, but I am very confident this will cashflow.  

It would have been much worse in the short term, but we could have used the crisis for some good by showing banks to take care of their own risk-managemnent, and cleaning out the bad assets through bankruptcy and starting over.

You just have to know the difference.Another problem with the "Cashflow NOW" crowd is that they cannot understand that your Cashflow now can also become NEGATIVE, which has happened to millions of Cashflowing Investments during the Financial Crisis of 2007-8.

This mortgage predates the mortgage crisis and the changes in the rules so there could potentially be issues in that area.
