You could sue him, which would probably be like getting blood from a rock.Or, you could make sure you haven't paid beyond what he's done and then hire the next person to come finish - which will cost extra, because nobody likes working on top of anyone else.Or pay him extra to finish, which is kind of a bad idea for a number of reasons.

@James Denon If you buy a property with tenants, you have 90 days to fix any lead issues or you become liable if anyone has high blood lead levels.
