Who has 2nd homes (required to stay in 2 wks/year by lender & can rent out the rest) on beach- needs to be southeast side of US- Marco Island FL, Virgin Islands, as examples?

I'm looking to learn more about real estate investing in South East Wisconsin and also to represent my company well in their business of rehabbing and selling turn key rentals.

@Jacobus Bor@Joe Villeneuve   Actually Joe is correct I'm in southeast MI and yes you can make 4k  off 150k capital investment.

You would be more likely to find larger community owners at George Allen's International Round Table (an annual event in September every year) or at the annual NCC Fall Leadership Forum, held in Chicago each year - this year November 11-13, or the relatively new event in Atlanta for small South East community owners SECO.

My partner just acquired an entire franchise operation in the Southeast (17 operating and profitable CW's).

Instead I would look at the climates of North, South, East and West Texas and pick what you like best then look for cities in the Suburbs with a varied employment base. 

Yeah, moonshine stills are definitely a thing, but they're most prevalent a little further south/southeast closer to WV/VA/TN.

North, South, East, and West are abbreviated sometimes, and not other times, all depending on context.

Everything west of Highway 99 is rapidly appreciating as homes are bought, fixed up and sold for $400-$500k reasonably quick.Even Oak Park, to the southeast, is turning around.
