They won't be able to ever just relax, if they never know when you're coming and that window is a 12 hour window every day.So, make it a 2 hour window, and less if possible.

So, I get it.If you could find out if he has a caregiver, or hook him up with someone who comes to check on him, then you could relax knowing he's got help, and that you'll be notified quickly if he should pass away.
