I had visions of my house in a swamp.

I don't yet have a clear vision of where I want to end up but I know I want it to end with me being financially independent.

I've been out for 5 or 6 years now, I've always had a bigger vision for financial freedom , just not quite sure how I would get there.

We skipped on the third day and went to the library for 8-hours and wrote out our business plan and crystalized our vision.

It's much less about market conditions and more about the experience, vision and integrity of the team you'll be a part of.Before you invest in any syndication, I strongly recommend you read Brian Burke's excellent book, The Hands-Off Investor: An Insider’s Guide to Investing in Passive Real Estate Syndications.
