Gavin Newsom is pleading for the federal government to bail out his state as projected budget shortfalls for the coming fiscal year due to coronavirus-related shutdowns are expected to impact public service workers like police and firefighters first.But oddly, Newsom’s plea of poverty comes as he and the Democrat-led state legislature authorize tens of millions of dollars to be paid out to illegal aliens living in the state as part of a “coronavirus relief” plan.

Most folks are paying rent and even if you go back to DeBlasio/Cuomo press conferences, neither is proposing relief in early Feb.

Also, there will be some sort of Coronavirus relief package passed soon.

Those who have tested positive, are sick or have been laid of off due to the pandemic are most likely going to receive some relief from a government program.  

I don't think a former tenancy should disqualify you from the CA rent relief program. 

I feel more relief than anything at getting out last year.

Well, maybe I can file for some kind of relief through a Landlord advocacy group or "small businesses affected by Covid'' relief, stimulus program, if the Senate approves it depending on Jan 5th runoff results.  

I doubt that we will pursue legal relief since it can be argued that our compassionate treatment may be a contributing factor.
