Regulations & Compliance: What's the best way to research local STR laws and avoid potential regulatory issues?

Many of the properties I have been looking at have issues but in this case I'm working with the seller to let me get it up to conventional appraisal standards before they inspect it.

There was two issues:1.

Give your state's 'cure' term ("In New Jersey, a tenant has three business days to pay rent and court costs after a judgment of possession is issued to avoid eviction.

Once you’ve got a little experience under your belt then you can attempt buildings that need more renovations/repairs or have had management issues.

Had some issues connecting VRBO at first, too.  

It also allows the manager to work directly with the insurance company to resolve issues efficiently.In Texas, this is part of the standard Texas Board of Realtors Property Management Agreement and is considered an industry best practice.

Separate issue is only 13% of CA homeowners pay for earthquake insurance because it's so expensive and the deductible can be really high.What are your re-building costs in your area?

You may run into issues since it's a smaller loan. 

I understand this is not a requirement, but I have never received a damaged unit from an inherited tenant or any legal issues.
